These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by AC Auto Consulting (“we,” “us,” “our”) and outline the legal agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) and us. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
AC Auto Consulting provides:
Remote Vehicle Damage Assessment (VDA): Digital vehicle inspection, reporting, and repair estimate services for bodyshops, insurers, and fleet operators.
Bodyshop Consultancy: Business analysis, operational improvements, profit-boosting strategies, and compliance guidance for vehicle repair centres.
We operate throughout the UK and offer services remotely and on-site as agreed.
Our services include but are not limited to:
Remote damage assessments with photographic and/or video analysis
Auditing and improving operational workflows
Advice on equipment usage, staff efficiency, and cost controls
Strategic support for profitability, growth, and compliance
Digital reports, repair cost estimates, and third-party communication support
Specific deliverables and timelines will be agreed upon in writing before work commences.
As a client, you agree to:
Provide accurate and timely information relevant to the services
Ensure any images, videos, or documents submitted for assessment are clear and complete
Cooperate with us throughout the engagement period
Inform us promptly of any material changes that may affect the services
Ensure any third-party permissions or consents (e.g., customer data) are in place where applicable
Failure to provide necessary information or access may delay or impact service delivery.
Fees will be quoted in advance based on service scope, complexity, and time required.
For consultancy work, fees may be fixed, hourly, or project-based depending on the agreement.
VDA services may be billed per assessment, on a retainer, or per vehicle volume.
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur a 5% monthly interest charge and/or service suspension until payment is received.
All pricing is exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
You may cancel a service request by giving 48 hours’ written notice. For cancellations after work has commenced:
A partial refund may be offered based on the proportion of work completed
For fixed-fee projects, you will be invoiced for the percentage of work already delivered
No refunds are given for completed assessments, reports, or strategy sessions
We reserve the right to cancel a service agreement if obligations are breached or unethical conduct is identified.
Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality over all shared information, including:
Client business data
Vehicle and customer details
Financial reports and operational findings
We will not disclose any information to third parties without your written consent unless legally required. This obligation remains in effect even after the contract ends.
All materials produced by AC Auto Consulting, including:
VDA reports
Consultancy documentation
Strategy frameworks
Templates, processes, and recommendations
…remain the intellectual property of AC Auto Consulting unless explicitly assigned. You may use these materials internally, but redistribution, resale, or third-party disclosure is prohibited without written consent.
We strive to provide accurate, professional, and high-quality services. However:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, business interruption).
Our liability for direct damages is capped at the value of the fees paid for the specific service.
We are not liable for any third-party decisions or actions taken as a result of our reports or recommendations.
Clients are responsible for implementing our advice and ensuring compliance with legal or industry regulations.
You acknowledge that consultancy advice is interpretive and may depend on external market or operational conditions.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using our services, you consent to our use of data as outlined in that policy.
We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Internet or power outages
Acts of government or regulatory authorities
Strikes or industrial actions
Wherever possible, we will provide notice and seek to resume services promptly.
Either party may terminate a service agreement by giving 14 days’ written notice, unless a different term has been agreed.
We may terminate immediately if:
Payment obligations are not met
There is a breach of confidentiality or unethical behaviour
Continued service presents a reputational or legal risk
Any outstanding payments remain due upon termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
